A copper-alloy knop from the headplate of an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch. The knop is full rounded, having a globular head with two reels below it. A small tab of metal extends from the base; the interior of the head is hollow and contains the remains of an iron pin.

A silver coin that has been folded in half. The coin is badly damaged so the design and inscription are largely obscured, except for a hand holding a sceptre, but this enough to identify it as a Cross and crosslets (Tealby) penny of Henry II (1154 – 1189) dating from 1158 - 1180. It has a length of 19.28mm, width 9.72mm, thickness 2.18mm, weight 1.45g. See North number 952 – 961.

A copper alloy Roman pointed oval plate brooch. The plate is divided into three cells; a large central oval cell and a thicker band surrounding that and a thin border. The enamel is all decayed. The pin and most of the catch plate are missing. It has a single pin lug. It has a length of 36.15mm, width 26.58mm, thickness 6.14mm, weight 17.20g. It measures 24.34mm wide by 13.10mm thick, increasing to 37.50mm wide by 22.52mm thick. It is 46.83mm long and weighs 124.49 grams. It is dark green-black in colour and the surface is pitted. Finder ID: Large copper alloy fragment of a cooking vessel leg or support, probably from a cauldron or skillet. Crudely cast with no distinguishing features other than tapering in shape.
