Medieval composite strap end fragment length 33mm, width 20mm, thickness 5mm, weight 4.9g.Incomplete forked spacer plate with projecting acorn terminal/knop, the two arms of the spacer are truncated.Both the top and bottom plates are missing. Egan & Pritchard publishes a number of similar composite strap ends with acorn knops, dated to between 1330-1450 ('Dress Accessories' HMSO) p.143-5.

Angled copper-alloy horse hoof knife terminal length 20mm, width 13mm, thickness 7mm, weight 6.72g.It has an oval shape, with a slot for an iron tang at the base. The end cap is in the form of a horse-hoof terminal, the 'hoof' being oval in section and curves at a 60angle. Copper alloy seal matrix length 40mm, width 26mm, thickness 8mm, weight 13.13g.Vesica-shaped seal matrix which depicts the virgin Mary seated on an elaborate throne holding the baby Jesus.At the bottom is a depiction of a demi-figure of a praying cleric facing left, separated from the rest of the seal by an arch.The inscription around the outside reads The artefact is in a poor condition as corrosion damaging much of the surface resulting in a lot of detail.This artefact dates to the 13th century.

See examples from Bradenham (Norfolk HER 31358), Great Dunham (Norfolk HER 45401) and two bells dated to the Roman period, from Newport, Essex (PAS ESS-954081) and Brill, Buckinghamshire (PAS no number), but also to two others considered to be Late Saxon, from Paulespury, Northamptonshire (PAS NARC-D9C172) and West Clandon, Surrey (PAS SUR-B48E74).
