An amorphous fragment of copper-alloy metal working debris. It is flat, oval shaped in section and with projecting globular lobes that give it an almost trefoil or triskele form. The fragment measures 35.03mm in length, 35.61mm in width, 4.54mm in thickness, and weighs 15.25g. This object is casting waste from the maufacture of copper-alloy objects and may be of any date from the Bronze Age period onwards.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris. It is sub-rectangular in form, relatively flat with an oval shaped section and globular protrusions at either end. The entire object has traces of a dark brown patina, but has suffered from post-depositional wear resulting in the appearance of corrosive products in places. It measures 47.46mm in length, 21.96mm in width, 5.65mm in thickness, and weighs 14.22g. This fragment of copper-alloy casting waste may be of any date from the Bronze Age onwards.

A copper alloy Roman pointed oval plate brooch. The plate is divided into three cells; a large central oval cell and a thicker band surrounding that and a thin border. The enamel is all decayed. The pin and most of the catch plate are missing. It has a single pin lug. It has a length of 36.15mm, width 26.58mm, thickness 6.14mm, weight 17.20g. Cf number 1207 on page 364 of Hattatt’s visual catalogue.

Incomplete tinned bell, upper part only with rounded cannon at apex, remains of iron crown staple and clapper, at least eight triangular apertures in side. See examples from Bradenham (Norfolk HER 31358), Great Dunham (Norfolk HER 45401) and two bells dated to the Roman period, from Newport, Essex (PAS ESS-954081) and Brill, Buckinghamshire (PAS no number), but also to two others considered to be Late Saxon, from Paulespury, Northamptonshire (PAS NARC-D9C172) and West Clandon, Surrey (PAS SUR-B48E74). Height 21mm. Diameter >20mm.
