A worn cast copper-alloy object, possibly part of the hinged handle from a copper-alloy vessel of Post-Medieval date. It is rectangular in form and D-shaped in section with projecting double semi-circular lug at one end. The lug is perforated by a cylindrical copper-alloy bar with flattened sub-oval shaped heads.
