A complete cast copper-alloy strap suspension fitting of probable Roman (50-450 AD) or possible Early Medieval (1000 – 1200 AD) date. The fitting consists of a single plate; which is sub-rectangular in plan and slightly curved in profile. The upper part is pierced in two places and would have enabled the plate to be fixed to a leather strap or similar. The remains of two corroded iron rivets are present. Gilt belt mount or harness mount, circular with central boss within concentric arrangement of six bosses, one of two integral rivets on reverse bent inward and retaining scrap of nicely preserved cloth. Diameter 12mm. Late 16th-17th century.

The cast copper-alloy suspension loop of a strap fitting, Post-Medieval in date, probably 17th century.
Trefoil shaped flat object with three loops, each with a central circular piercing, and a short stub projectig between two of the loops at one side. It is not clear if the stub is complete or broken from a worn break. It is 21.3mm long, 18.7mm wide and 3.0mm thick; it weighs 3.28 grams.
Similar trefoil fittings have been found attached to hooked mounts e.g. DOR-68FC94, SUSS-4422A3 and Read (2000:30, 42) No. 362.
