A group of eight unpatinated lithic implements, most of which demonstrate crude production techniques that are suggestive of a date range in the Middle to Late Bronze Age periods. 1)  A squat flake with hinge fracture and limited edge retouch forming a small notch. It has an obtuse striking angle and has no trace of cortex. A cast copper-alloy open-topped thimble or sewing ring of probable later Medieval to Post-Medieval date with open top end. It has a thickened rim with grooved border. Spiralling upwards from the rim are rows of evenly spaced punched circular indentations that terminate with a recessed band at the top of the thimble. It measures 13.24mm in height, 20.30mm in external diameter at the base, 18.37mm in external diameter at top, 0.84mm in thickness, and weighs 3.70g. The use of a thimble with an open top suggests a date range in the 15th to 16th centuries AD (see Holmes, 1988).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy spacer from a composite strap end of Medieval date. It comrpsies a flat rectangular plate with openwork decoration and a decorative terminal knop. At the top of the spacer is a central circular rivet hole with the remains of a copper-alloy rivet. Cast copper alloy headstud brooch dating to the Roman period, (45-410AD). The object is a hinged example but the pin is missing. The hinged pin is mounted in a half cylinder across the back of the wings. The brooch has a large head loop. The wings are short and have a forward projecting end cap.
