Cast copper alloy Headstud brooch length 47mm, width 21mm, thickness 22mm, weight 14.97g. The brooch has semicircular wings which protect the spring, which is now missing.Two rear ward facing hook on the top of the head would have held the spring in place.At the top of the bow is a small lug with a circular recession below. The bow is plain, the foot is circular with a dished underside. The catchplate on the reverse is incomplete. 70-150 AD

A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris. It is sub-rectangular in form, relatively flat with an oval shaped section and globular protrusions at either end. The entire object has traces of a dark brown patina, but has suffered from post-depositional wear resulting in the appearance of corrosive products in places. It measures 47.46mm in length, 21.96mm in width, 5.65mm in thickness, and weighs 14.22g. This fragment of copper-alloy casting waste may be of any date from the Bronze Age onwards.

A cast copper alloy cooking vessel leg and foot. In plan it is a sub-rectangle with a flared and rounded foot. In profile the reverse of the leg is almost straight except the foot is obliquely angled outwards. In section the leg is an elongated semi-circle, but is only 10.92mm thick. The foot is bulbous and asymmetrical on the front face. The upper edge of the leg is broken, this is not a recent break. The front face has a heavy black deposit which is probably a sooty/carbon deposit. Otherwise the surface has a mottled mid green abraded surface. The leg measures 30.1mm tall, 41.…

The fragment is an asymmetrical shape in plan from the upper view and has an undulating surface. An Iron Age brooch of the La Tene IBb style (400-272 BC). The brooch is cast from a single piece of copper alloy. Half of the spring and all of the pin are missing. Only two loops of the spring remain on one side of the head. The bow has a semicircular arched profile and is oval in plan with a integrally cast valley running along the centre of the front. A complete cast copper alloy double looped sub-oval buckle. The buckle frame, in plan, is a pointed oval, with the apex of the loops forming a triangle. The strap bar is narrowed and oval in section. The terminal of the strap bar has moulded decoration but the form is uncertain due to abrasion. The reverse of the frame is flat and undecorated except for a trace of gilding. The pin is missing.
