An incomplete Roman (AD 100-410) copper alloy Plate brooch complete with pin lug but missing its spring mechanism and catchplate. The edge is also slightly damaged in one place. The brooch is oval in shape and measures 27.72x23.47x1.65mm and weighs 4.7g. The decoration to the front (which is very thin and flat) comprises a c.2.5mm wide rim of ?worn light blue enamel (or possibly fixant for a paste or glass setting?). A fragment of Late Bronze Age (900-800 BC) bronze socketed axehead, consisting of part of the mouth and body. It measures 27.67x18.91x(max)4.58mm and weighs 9.5g. Just below the mouth, which shows unfinished casting flashes and is circular in shape, is a single moulding (max.thickness). The fragment below the moulding consists of a corner (part face, part side). The fragment suggests the axehead is of the Ewart Park phase, 900-800 BC.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 5, flat wing ends type, Western Group), cf. Mackreth 2011, 5.b4. Plate 50 . it is missing its spring mechanism and lower bow and catchplate. It measures 28.60mm in incomplete length and weighs 7.8g. The wingspan is 28.68mm. An incomplete Roman (AD 320-450) copper alloy finger-ring, missing its (probably enamel) setting. It measures 19.74x17.94mm (internal 17.71x14.91mm) and weighs 1.6g. The hoop is rather flat but D-shaped in section, widening from 1.86x1.37mm at the centre to 4.6x1.2mm at the top of the shoulders. The shoulders are decorated with diagonal grooves, the same direction on both shoulders. At the top of the shoulders is a transverse bar, and between an oval bezel c.9.5x8.78mm. A fragment of a curving band of copper alloy, probably a Roman (AD 43-100) Bracelet. One end is intact while all other edges are damaged. There is no discernable decoration and where the patina survives it is smooth and shiny. The fragment measures 38.61x14.78x1.52mm and weighs 3.3g. Broad-banded bracelets such as this date to the second half of 1st century AD (Crummy 1983, 37-8, nos. 1586-7).

A fragment of Middle to Late Bronze Age (1450 - 900 BC) bronze socketed spearhead, consisting of part of the blade section. It measures 31.34x30.18x9.07mm and weighs 20.3g. The central rib is prominent and circular in section at the narrower end (7.69mm), while at the other (wider) break it has been flattened off on both sides. The blade is triangular in section to either side of the rib, narrowing from c.3.6mm thick to c.1.5mm at the edge. In shape, the fragment is triangular with very angled edges, suggesting an angular- or flame-shaped head.

A copper alloy terminal from a dress accessory of some sort (probably) which is Post Medieval in date. It is made of thin copper alloy and is triangular in shape and rectangular in section. It is of hollow construction, with a circular hole in the apex. The reverse is plain, but the front is decorated with scrolls and a trilobed terminal which is decorated with small punched circles. A medieval Arabic coin: a cut quarter dirham probably dating from the 7th - 9th century. It is 15.9mm long, 12.3mm wide and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 0.6gm. Two other dirhams found in this area are SWYOR-E9AF36, and SWYOR-E98253, so this is probably of a similar date. This coin was found with other objects suggesting an Early Medieval trading site, and so is probably an ancient loss.

The seal is a pointed oval shape, and the central device seems to be a stylised fleur de lis, but if the legend starts in the usual place, it is upside down.
