This is a hammered silver cut half penny of Henry III (1216-72). As a short cross coin, it dates to 1216-47). The obverse has the crowned bust facing with a sceptre in the right hand. And the reverse has the voided short cross with a quatrefoil at each quadrant.
The coin has suffered slight clipping and the surface is beginning to oxidise.
