Complete gilded copper alloy cruciform harness pendant. The pendant is in the shape of a cross pattee quadrate. The outer face retains traces of gilding. In the central section, largely obscured by erosion, are sixteen small squares, arranged in rows of four - maybe the owner's arms, but impossible to make out. The remains of gilding extends into three of the arms. Within this, particularly on the lower arm, where the largest proportion of gilding survives, it is possible to see the remains of a pattern, although the detail of this is now impossible to make out.
