Circumstances of find Between the 17th and 21st February 2010 1669 late Roman coins (including some minor fragments) and a broken jar were found. Some of the coins were fused, others spread on an area about 10m². Description of the coins The coins are of a base metal denomination commonly known as the nummus, covering the reign of Constantine I (AD 306-337) and that of his sons; the earliest date to the period AD 318-24.
