A cast copper alloy single-loop buckle. The buckle has a recessed and narrowed pin bar (pin missing), a pointed lip with groove for the pin, and a double ridge each side. The reverse of the buckle is plain and flat. This buckle measures 18.05mm long, 20.5mm wide and is 3.8mm thick. It weighs 2.28gms and dates from the later madieval period.

A cast copper-alloy fragment - possibly the terminal from a Roman sceptre handle. The object is a open sleeve with a thickened and flattened end (Dia.: 23.8mm; Th.: 3.55mm). Above this the sleeve tapers to a diameter of c. 18.55mm and narrows to a thickness of 1.45mm. The internal diameter is c. 16.5mm. Just before the object tapers there is a circumferential incised line. Having tapered there is a triple groove above which a double ridge. This example has elements of both Hod hill and Polden Hill styles, and an exact comparison could not be made in Hattatt. The brooch is incomplete, missing its spring and pin. The brooch measures 50mm long, 20mm wide and weighs 8.7gms.

A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy mid 1st century AD Roman probable dolphin type brooch, as derived from the Colchester type. The bow curves through over ninety degrees and expands into the bulbous head. The underside is curved with the convex wings extending little either side (max. W.: 16.05mm). A cast copper alloy Roman Polden Hill brooch of flat wing ends type, dating to the mid-1st century AD. The brooch is incomplete, consisting of the head and upper bow only and missing the bar and pin. The end plates on the arms are abraded. There is ridged and grooved decoration on the upper surface of the wing. The brooch fragment measures 17.6mm long, 25.15mm wide and is 7.45mm thick. It weighs 4gms.

Roman Polden Hill brooch of flat wing ends type,of late first to second century. The brooch is badly damaged, missing the lower part of its bow and one wing. The pin is also missing, although ferrous traces of the axis bar remain set within the characteristic semi-cylindrical crossbar. The typical pierced plates at each end of the wings are apparent on the one remaining wing.
