A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch from the 1st century (43 - 100 AD). The fragment consists of the foot and catchplate of a Roman bow brooch. The catchplate has two pierced holes, one sub-oval the other more circular. The artefact has a dark red surface and is badly worn. It is 22.2mm long, 11.8mm wide and 3.8mm thick. It weighs 1.6 grams.

Description: A squashed silver thimble of post-medieval date, dome missing (?). It is made from thin silver sheet joined at one edge (now detached), and decorated with intersecting geometric ribbon ornament on a waffle ground. The band below is plain. The thimble is stamped internally at the base with the upside down initials 'R L', presumably a maker's mark. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped buckle. Only one half of the symmetrical double-looped buckle frame remains. The frame has an oval plan and a sub-rectangular cross-section. At the centre of the outside edge the frame extends into a trefoil knop. On the upper and lower sides there is a large decorative knop where the strap bar abuts the buckle frame. Here scars suggest where the other half of the double loop has been lost. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle in two pieces (1500-1700). The buckle frame is the double-loop type. The shape has been distorted and the frame is broken, but is roughly sub-rectangular in plan. The buckle has a rectangular section, but has bevelled edges. On the outside edges the frame widens toward the centre. The strap bar and pin remain intact. The sheet pin is held in place on the bar in a recess defined by two protruding knops. The buckle is 37.8mm long, 24.1mm wide and 1.8mm thick.
