A large snub-nosed borer made from a flint with a dark grey core and dark brownish orange outer. No cortex remains. The bulb has been removed, while retouch is evident around all edges. There are also removals on the 'nose' end of the borer tip. This tool may have been hafted into a wooden or bone handle and used either by hand or with a bow-drill.
This object is hard to date, but is probably Mesolithic to Neolithic in date. The tool measures 38.47mm long and weighs 9.2gms. The width of the tool is 25.53mm at the shoulders, reduced to 9.51mm at the bore tip.

A cast copper alloy Roman brooch, similar to the Polden Hill style and dating to the first century AD. The brooch has an integral spring / pin loop at the head, while fragments of the spring arms survive as does some of the catchplate. There is a slight 'ripple' effect decoration on the lower portion of the brooch, otherwise there is no decoration.

A cast copper alloy lozenge shaped mount with integral loop at one end. Two rivet holes are drilled from the front and would have secured the mount to a strap. The mount may have joined a type of hook-clasp (medieval - post-medieval) or have been a suspension mount for an unidentified hanging object.
The mount is complete and in good condition, measuring 29.7mm long, 15.12mm wide and 1.9mm thick. The loop is 10.06mm diameter and it has a total weight of 2.6gms.

A silver inscribed finger ring made of a single pre-inscribed length joined together. The decoration consists of seven rectangular panels, alternating between a x with trifoliate terminals and a similar design in a lozenge form made up of four trifoliate designs arranged in a cross within a rectangular border. At the join part of this same design can be seen although it has been truncated by said join. There is no internal inscription. The ring is 21.06mm diameter, 6.38mm wide and the band is 1.19mm thick. It weighs 2.9gms.

A complete and misshapen posy finger-ring of post-Medieval date. Treasure case no. 2009 T257. The outer face of the hoop is engraved with four evenly spaced composite flower heads and the inside of the hoop is inscribed: Let vertue be a guide to thee. A stamped maker's mark at the end of the inscription is formed by initials: I W.

An incomplete cast copper alloy barb-spring barrel padlock of Medieval date (c. AD 1200 – c. AD 1400), missing its bolt. Length: 36.96mm; width: 11.41mm and 23.91mm deep. Weight: 12.76g.
The barrel case is oval in cross-section throughout its length (c.14.62x11.41mm) and missing part of one end. At the other end of the case, which is closed with a rectangular opening extending from the side for the slide-key to be inserted, a broken rectangular arm (tab) projects to the reverse which measures 9.97mm x 6.58mm x 1.99mm.

Abrupt, direct retouch around most of the outside creating a curved working edge, 40% cortex in the centre of the dorsal, large bulb of percussion on the ventral.
