Cast lead seal matrix. Medieval (late 12th-c.13th century). Mass: 24.5g, length: 36.4mm, width: 26.4mm, depth: 5.7mm. Oval in plan with an incomplete suspension loop at one end. There is an incised fleur-de-lis in the centre of the base, surrounded by an incised reversed legend: +(S) [ ](ERTI A)( )[ ], which is unclear due to loss of material around the edge. Cast copper-alloy looped mount from a sword-belt hanger. Mass: 9.0g, length: 42.5mm, width: 27.8mm, thickness: 2.3mm. Post-medieval (c.16th-c17th century). The mount consists of a plate with a projection from an incomplete hook at one end. There is moulded foliate design on the front of the plate, with two iron rivets at the hook end and one iron rivet at the opposite end of the plate. The mount has a pitted green surface, with an unidentified black substance also visible on the reverse. The mount is very similar to number 790 in "Hooked clasps and eyes", Read, 2008, p. 219. Collar between the head and the circular sectioned shaft. The shaft is broken at the bottom. Well developed green patina, with a pitted lighter green surface in parts where this has been lost.

A cast copper alloy strap junction. The artefact consists of a small square frame; from each corner extends an arm with a very small loop at the end; each arm is around the same length as one of the sides of the square. One arm is missing; one of the remaining loops is broken. Each element of the artefact appears to have an oval section. The artefact is decorated all over with close-set grooves that stretch around the arms. The back is plain and slightly curved. This artefact probably dates to the 12th to 14th centuries.

A cast copper alloy five-way strap distributor. The body is circular and slightly convex. There is a central rivet in situ. The body has rough oval slots around the edge. Some gilding survives. The five strap attachments are all present. They have roughly square bodies with rounded outer ends; the inner ends are shouldered, with a ‘tongue’ bent around and riveted in place; these would have held the straps. The object is in poor condition, although some gilding survives. This artefact probably dates to the medieval period.

The body has four-sided rotational symmetry. The body is roughly octagonal, with a rectangular loop on each of the main four sides. There is a central hole. At the ‘corners’, the body is decorated with diagonal ridges which converge in the central hole. A cast copper alloy horse harness pendant suspension mount in the form of a narrow, flat bar. The bar is divided into five segments; the outer and middle one are decorated with cross-hatched raised lines; the shorter segments in between are chamfered along the edges. The bottom segment is perforated to take a rivet. The hinge at the bottom is formed of the end, folded back, so that the rivet went through the end; the perforation for the suspension loop is wide; no pin survives. The surface has some gilding surviving. This artefact dates to the 13th to 15th centuries.

There is a sub-circular piercing, 2.53mm in diamented, made from the obverse to the reverse. The piercing is at 3 o'clock on the obverse, 7 o'clock on the reverse and half way between the edge and centre. On the obverse it avoids the monachs head.
