Romano British disc brooch, tinned, traces of blue enamel decoration. Total diameter 33mm. Central circle c. 9mm in diameter, recessed for possible (missing) setting around which is a plain tinned band c. 3mm in width, surrounded by a circle of 22 pellets, a further plain band, and the outermost band consists of hemispherical pellets. Catchplate on reverse projects further than the diameter of the brooch, iron corrosion adhering to double pin lug. See Hattatt no.1564, 2nd century.

Romano British belt stiffener, propeller shaped, 40mm x 20mm, with thick, square-sectioned median rib perforated by drilled circular hole through the triangular-shaped flaring extension at each end. The central circular section has a serrated edge and is decorated with a single ring and dot motif on each lobe. Late 4th-5th century, similar to MacGregor, A. and Bolick, E. (1993) no.36.8.

Unusual Roman British brooch, rearward hook and spring housing, wingspan >17mm, similar to Aesica type brooches such as Hattatt no.1474, with central concentric lozengiform mouldings, 22.5 x 18.5mm, protruding to 6mm in thickness, reminiscent of a plate brooch such as Hattatt no. 1085. Foot of brooch missing, although this may have been flaring in the manner of an Aesica brooch, 1st century.

A silver Roman coin; radiate of Postumus (260-9AD), possibly a contemporary copy. The coin has a fairly illegible reverse. There is possibly Victory advancing left (with wreath). The legend has worn away. C.f. Sear Vol. III, no.10996. The coin has a diameter of 20.6mm and is 1.6mm thick. It weighs 2.68g.

A carinated body sherd from a Roman Oxfordshire colour-coated ware vessel (mid to late 4th century AD). The fragment is an irregular five-sided shape. The internal and external surface is an oxidised orange, and the cross-section shows the core is grey with no visible inclusions. The external surface is decorated with a rouletted linear pattern and a pattern of demi-rosettes. The internal surface has white staining. This sherd can be classified as Young's (1977, 169-170) type C83.
