Copper alloy 3 reis of King Juan (John) V of Portugal (1706-1750), dated to 1720 on the reverse. The legend on the obverse reads: D G PORT ET ALG REX 'King, by the grace of God, of Portugal and the Algarve' as the normal title. This design was used on 4 denominations of copper coins in Portugal at the time, and this is the 3 reis piece, from the III within a wreath on the reverse.

An incomplete cast lead button of probable Post-Medieval date (AD 1600 - AD 1700). Diameter: 14.9mm; thickness: 3.3mm. Weight: 1.88g. The button is circular in plan. At the front it has a slightly raised peripheral rim and encloses a central moulded fleur-de-lis motif. The back is flat and has a central casting seam and the remains of a loop on the same alignment. This button is corroded and in poor condition with traces of a buff patina.

A complete copper alloy thimble of Medieval to Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1400 – c. AD 1550). Length: 16.8mm; diameter: 18.2mm and about 0.7mm thick. Weight: 5.14g. The thimble has sloping sides and a convex crown. The rim is plain and not thickened. On the rim there is a small ‘V’-shaped notch which may be related to a manufacturing process. A Roman copper alloy skeuomorphic type brooch dating from the 1st or 2nd centuries. The brooch is enamelled and is lunular shaped, it has two cells of enamel both of which are lunular shaped and one is inside the other and off centre. The outer cell appears to have contained blue enamel but there is no trace of the enamel in the inner cell. A Roman copper alloy plate brooch, dating from the 2nd-3rd centuries. the brooch is formed of a flat oval with two concentric raised bands. In the centre of these bands there would have been a glass intaglio, which is now missing. Between the two bands, surrounding the intaglio there are traces of green enamelling surviving. on the flat reverse there is a pierced lug, through which the pin would have been hinged. there is also the remains of the catch plate, although the pin is missing. the brooch is 26.9mm long, 20.4mm wide, 2.6mm thick, and weighs 5.6g.
