An incomplete cast copper-alloy key dating to the medieval period. The key comprises a hollow, circular-sectioned stem, which widens towards the bit. The tip is hollow and badly damaged. The stem of the key is undecorated, but has a collar around the end next to the bow. The bow is completely missing, due to the break. There is a channel below the stem. The bit is roughly rectangular in shape and has three wards which extend downwards, forming two clefts. Similar to Egan, p113, 313.

A small key, cast in copper alloy. The bow is oval and fairly small (now broken). There is no collar next to the bow. The stem is solid, with a flattened circular section, the end of the stem is hollow. The bit is simple, consisting of a sub-rectangular plate of copper alloy. There are two slight notches, one in either side of the bit, forming a figure-of-eight shape. The surface is a mid greyish-green colour and is pitted. The key is medieval in date. Parallels can be seen in Egan, p112-3, Fig: 86.
