A cast copper-alloy single-loop buckle frame. The frame is roughly D-shaped, has an offset and narrow strap bar, and a moulded pin rest on the outer side. At the top and bottom of the pin rest a moulded lobe is separated from the rest of the frame by a sheet metal roller. The pin survives, but is broken. Wrapped around the strap bar is a buckle plate, the edges of which are badly damaged and worn. The bend of the plate, has had a notch cut into it for the pin. One copper alloy rivet survives in situ.
