A medieval silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307), London mint, possibly class 3, dating from 1280-81. A section of the rim has broken away between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock on the obverse, but most of this is still present. It is 19.7mm in diameter and 0.6mm thick. It weighs 1.2gm. Reference: North, volume 2, numbers 1016-22.

Cast copper alloy button with integral shank. The head of the button is domed and rounded and features a concentric ring design, each ring has been decorated with incised dots and there is a centre indentation. The shank is circular, flattened and attached to the head at a right-angle without a stem. The metal is mid greyish-green in colour and is pitted.

A cast copper-alloy single-loop buckle frame. The frame is roughly D-shaped, has an offset and narrow strap bar, and a moulded pin rest on the outer side. At the top and bottom of the pin rest a moulded lobe is separated from the rest of the frame by a sheet metal roller. The pin survives, but is broken. Wrapped around the strap bar is a buckle plate, the edges of which are badly damaged and worn. The bend of the plate, has had a notch cut into it for the pin. One copper alloy rivet survives in situ. A small key, cast in copper alloy. The bow is oval and fairly small (now broken). There is no collar next to the bow. The stem is solid, with a flattened circular section, the end of the stem is hollow. The bit is simple, consisting of a sub-rectangular plate of copper alloy. There are two slight notches, one in either side of the bit, forming a figure-of-eight shape. The surface is a mid greyish-green colour and is pitted. The key is medieval in date. Parallels can be seen in Egan, p112-3, Fig: 86.

A cast copper alloy brooch, made from four conjoined rings, all soldered together in a spiral. On the reverse of the brooch the remains of the lug and catchplate remain in situ. This brooch is likely to be post-medieval to modern in date.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting, probably of medieval date. The object comprises an oval loop, with chamfered internal and external edges. Extending out from one edge is a rectangular loop, which is now largely broken. The break is worn. On the opposite side of the oval loop there is a projecting decorative terminal. Formed from lobes, the central lobe is broken and the outer two are pierced. The metal is a dark reddish-brown colour and the surface is smooth and shiny.
