Early Medieval (9th century Anglo-Saxon) Thomas class 1 type 2 strap end. Cast in copper alloy, the strap end is almost complete except for a small break at the split end. There is a small amount of iron in the split end, presumably the corroded remains of the two missing rivets. The surface of the strap end is very worn, making the cast design difficult to decipher. Medieval cast lead alloy spindle whorl. The whorl is circular in plan, with an irregular circular perforation at the centre. It has a sub-triangular cross section. Both the upper and lower surface have moulded decoration. One face has a zig-zag design, with pellets in the gaps. The other face has five double arches, with two pellets in each towards the central perforation. It has a diameter of 30.59mm, the perforation has a diameter of 9.95mm. It is 9.98mm thick 10.01mm wide and weighs 44.88 grams. The surface is slightly worn and there is some damage.

An incomplete cast copper alloy double looped sub-oval buckle. One loop is complete missing, the other is missing, breaks of the second loop are not recent. The remaining loop, on the interior, is D-shaped. The exterior edge, at the apex has an integral knop. The knop is sub-oval and has radiate grooves as decoration. Post Medieval (1700-1900AD) cast copper alloy finger ring. The hoop is semi-circular in cross section. The upper surface is decorated with two incised lines running parallel to the edges, a series of perpendicular lines running between them. The ring has an external diameter of 20.83mm, an internal diameter of 15.48mm, is 3.81mm wide, 2.03mm thick and weighs 2.98 grams.

The design (described from the impression) is of a praying figure, kneeling and right facing, with a hand extended over the figure. The strap bar is slightly narrowed and is sub-square in section. The pin is missing. The surface of the frame is abraded and has a matte dark green surface. A cast copper alloy strap fitting, a decorative mount. In plan, the mount is an elongated sub-drop shape, with a bifoliate base. The mount is undecorated. The reverse is flat and has two integral oval sectioned studs, which are both incomplete. The most complete stud is bent forming an inverted ‘L’ shape in profile. The surface of the mount has traces of a mid green patina, but otherwise it has red copper corrosion. It measures 33.2mm long, 16.01mm wide and 6.23mm thick, weighing 4.9g. A cast copper T-shape brooch of early Roman date. The surviving portion of the brooch measures 25.1mm by 20.4mm by 3.8mm and weighs 4.8g. The undecorated and slightly damaged cylindrical wings conceal the iron axis bar for the hinged pin, which is almost absent apart from a patch of iron corrosion. The upper bow is decorated with a vertical grooved line on each side. The bow narrows gradually to the point where it has broken. Just above this there are two lozenge-shaped cells for enamel, both of which are empty. The catchplate and lower bow are missing.

A Roman copper-alloy penannular brooch of Fowler type C. The oval brooch measures 34mm by 29.9mm by 2.3mm (excluding the terminals) and weighs 4.8g. It has a uniform flat oval cross section, around 3.6mm wide by 2.3mm thick. The terminals have been formed by curving the ends back on themselves to form about one-and-a-half twists. The front of the brooch is decorated with closely-spaced diagonal lines. The pin is missing.

A cast copper alloy zoomorphic buckle of late Roman or early post-Roman date. The buckle measures 17.7mm (excluding the pin) by 24.6mm by 3.7mm and weighs 4.1g. The frame is broadly D-shaped, with a flat back and moulded convex front. A pair of outwards-facing horse-heads projects from the outside edge. They are decorated with lightly incised marks which represent the eyes and mane. The outside edge of the buckle is convex. The pin is wrapped around the frame and tapers to a point. It is decorated with two pairs of incised transverse lines. The buckle is of Hawkes and Dunning's type IB.
