Medieval copper alloy barb spring from a padlock, measuring 26.7x10.2mm and weighing 3.52g. The barb spring is in two pieces - a main shaft c.20mm in length and 7mm wide with a c.10mm diameter circular terminal from which extends a c.4mm long 2.5mm diameter circular-sectioned rivet, and a piece of sheet copper alloy 19x6mm attached to the end of the shaft opposite the circular terminal with a single rivet. This is the barb and extends almost to the circular terminal, at an angle. The shaft has a slightly rounded face on its other side, suggesting maybe there was only one barb. …

Medieval (circa 1350-1400 AD) cast copper alloy buckle. This double loop buckle is incomplete with only one of the loops surviving. The frame has an expanded, straight outer edge decorated with transverse grooves. There is a small knob to either end of the narrowed strap bar. The breaks are old and worn. The buckle has a dark green-black patina with a small amount of tinning surviving. Length 12.99mm, width 11.75, thickness 2.29mm, weight 0.88 grams.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 28mm long, 12mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition, having worn edges, has a brown patina and weighs 5.17grams. The matrix is a 'pointed oval' in form and is rectangular in section. It has a raised central rib which widens as it approaches the edge which contains a semi-circular protrusion 6mm deep and 10mm wide. The matrix is illustrated with a lamb holding a flag (Agnus Dei). The illustration appears to have lombardic lettering but it will need cleaning to make this legible.
