A copper-alloy double-loop buckle. The sides are straight and parallel but the top and bottom are shaped with curves, suggestive of petals. There is no surface decoration and the pin is missing. The buckle has similarities to 17th century spur buckles in Marshall's 'Buckles through the Ages' (p16 Type IIID) but the shape of the internal loops groups it with 14th-15th century medieval examples (p12 Type IIIB).
