A corroded Medieval cast copper alloy bar mount. The mount has terminal lobes at either end and a bulbous central lobe decorated with four tranverse incised grooves across its centre. There is a separate circular rivet hole in each of the terminal lobes with remnants of both rivets protruding from the reverse side. Several examples similar to this bar mount are illustrated in Egan; Dress Accessories (1991) p214; No.1161 dated through ceramic association to 1350 to 1400 AD. The mount is 13.3mm long, 7.2mm wide, thick and weighs 1g.

A copper alloy bi-face sub-square coin weight for a half angel coin. The obverse shows the archangel Michael spearing a dragon at his feet. In the left field is a letter 'R'. The reverse shows evidence of a design but is too badly corroded for it to be resolved. The half angel was a gold coin first issued in 1464 (Withers and Withers 1995: 21). It is 12.3 by 12.3mm, 2.28mm thick and weighs 2 grams, coin weights are typically made slightly light and also lose weight through corrosion. 1464-1619 AD

A copper alloy Medieval strap end. In plan the strap end is sub-lingulate in shape. The attachment end is flat with a shallow triangular notch removed close to either side. The terminal end tapers abruptly from either side towards a central protruding triangular-pointed tab. The strap end is composite in that it is comprised of two seperate plates secured by rivets positioned centrally at either end. One of the rivets still shows remains of cloth attached. An undecorated copper alloy bead. The bead is circular in plan (9.54mm diameter) with a circular concentric 3.4mm central hole. In cross-section it is sub-circular. Undecorated beads of this type are difficult to date tightly as they are used in this form from the Bronze Age through to the Early Medieval period. The bead is 3mm thick and weighs 0.7g.

A uniface cast leaden token of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The token is circular in plan. One face shows a raised seemingly random design of crossed straight lines and pellets, whilst the other side is plain. Lead alloy tokens such as this were used for a variety of purposes. A complete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3500 BC – 2100 BC). Length: 98.7mm; width: 62.0mm and 25.2mm thick. Weight: 211.93g. The implement is made of ‘greenstone’ and is mainly dull green but also has some areas that are dark orange.
