Incomplete Medieval finger-ring, most of hoop missing. The oval bezel, set transversely, contains a white stone setting, probably set en cabochon, but with surface missing, now jagged and pitted. The hoop at its junction with the bezel is 3.5mm wide, while the bezel measures 18 x 14.5mm. Most of the surface is heavily iron stained. 12th – 13th century.

Medieval composite strap-end of crescentic type, complete apart from part of the sheet back plate, patches of white-metal coating on both faces. Four rivets. The front of the crescent is decorated with engraved lines and small areas of rocker arm engraving. Details on the front surface of the sub-lozengiform foliar knop are picked out by deep V-sectioned engraved grooves. 44 x 31mm. Cf. Fingerlin 1971 Abb. 312-314. First half 15th century.

Medieval incomplete lead ampulla, most of upper part including one lug missing. On one face a downward-pointing arrow (head missing). On the other a round-based narrow-necked pot within a cross-hatched crescent. Height 49mm. Width (estimated) 34mm. The arrow is an enigmatic symbol of Our Lady of Walsingham, and the pot represents the phial of Holy Milk, which stood on the high altar of the priory church. Late 14th - early 16th century.

At the corners and at both ends of the bar rounded lobes with engraved or filed cross-hatching. Three similar but square lobes on the surviving edge. Of curved profile, cf. Dress Accessories no. 443 and Whitehead 2003 nos. 475-6. An unusual piece. 24 x 34mm. 14th – 15th century.

Part of an unidentified Medieval/Post Medieval object, cast disc with four integral projections, two incomplete, bent and of ovoid section , two slight stubs or scars only. The projections are aligned at an acute angle rather than at 90º. On one face cast decoration consists of a ring-and-dot within a ring of eighteen triangles, apices outwards, probably representing the sun. Medieval possible vessel fragment, a crumpled and torn piece of plate with part of a round hole next to the small surviving part of the original curved edge or rim. A wide outer band is decorated with foliar motifs in counter-relief, certainly once inlaid with enamel, though none survives. The remainder is undecorated. The overall diameter, if the object was circular, would have been c.170mm, but whether flat or concave is uncertain because of the distortion. A square dent suggests some vigorous damage probably in the process of deliberate breaking up. Thickness 1mm, 1.7mm at the rim. …

Early Saxon foot of cruciform brooch. Below an ancient break two sets of very fine transverse engraved lines and single notch on both sides. Very simple half-round moulding with a pair of transverse grooves below side chamfers. Slightly protruding eyes and a strong median arris down to swollen undivided nostrils, which are decorated with very finely engraved oblique lines. Terminal projecting loop with transverse hole. Length 43mm. Martin dates this type to c. 475-c. 500 AD (2015, 126).
