Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch fragment length 28mm, width 11mm, thickness 11mm, weight 6.5g. Only the middle of the leg remains, this consists of a moulded knee with two projections above and below, one is 11mm long the other is 8mm long, both are truncated and heavily corroded.
This artefact dates to 50-200AD.

Cast copper alloy annular double looped buckle length 60mm, width 48mm, thickness 4mm, weight 28.98g. The frame is decorated with four sets of moulding consisting of four transverse lines. Two moulded knops project from the reverse, these are decorated to look like tassels and consist of a bulbous base that is decorated with three lines of cross-hatching, from this projects a trapezoid which has a series of horizontal lines. The strap bar in narrowed. The pin is a folded copper alloy sheet. The metal is a mid greenish-brown in colour. Parallels for this type of buckle has been record…
