A cast copper-alloy sword-belt fitting, 16th - 17th century in date. The surface of the fitting has been decorated with a symmetrical floral design. The artefact is made up of a decoratively moulded plate of copper alloy. The plate is roughly rectangular in shape, with two rounded corners on one terminal and a square, but broken projection at the base. On the other terminal the plate has a shaped edge formed of two pointed lobes with a rounded lobe in the middle, now also broken. A cast copper alloy rectangular buckle plate, formed from a sheet of coppper alloy. The plate has a double rolled terminal at each end. One is connected to nothing. The other is connected to a second plate, via a strap bar.
The plate is recessed for the pin, with a central slot on both ends, no pin survives. The plate is undecorated. The plate has a mid greyish-green patina and is worn. It is slightly bent along the width. It is medieval in date.

An incomplete hook-piece from a sheet copper alloy book fitting of post-medieval date. The book fitting is currently bent but would have measured about 50mm in length (when straight) by 16mm by 1.5mm. It weighs 4.4g. It is flat and rectangular with one flared end, which is perforated by a central circular hole containing the remains of a copper alloy rivet. This end is slightly damaged but has three lobes. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of early Roman date. The surviving portion comprises the lower part of the bow. It measures 33.4mm by 9.5mm by 5.9mm and weighs 2.6g. The brooch has broken at a point where the bow is narrowed. Immediately below the break there is a moulded tranverse vesica-shaped section (oval with pointed ends). An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shape brooch of early Roman date. The brooch measures 20.8mm by 23.8mm by 2.8mm and weighs 5.3g. The cylindrical wings contain the iron axis bar for the missing hinged pin. They are decorated with three parallel circumferential incised lines at one end (the other end is damaged). The bow has a rectangular cross-section and narrows towards the missing foot. The front of the bow is decorated with two longitudinal recessed linears.

The circular slightly domed button measures 25.7mm in diameter, it is 3.5mm thick (excluding the integrally cast loop in the centre of the reverse) and weighs 10.8g. An incomplete cast copper alloy handle from a medieval or post-medieval cauldron. The handle fragment measures 54.3mm, it has a diameter of 15.9mm and weighs 65g. The surviving portion comprises the upper side of the V-shaped handle and a small part of the vessel's body, including part of the rim. Its cross-section is circular. The lug handle would have been one of two on the complete vessel, which would have had a globular body and an everted rim.
