An unidentified cast copper alloy object of probable post medieval date. The flat trefoil-shaped object measures 24mm by 22.9mm by 2.4mm and weighs 5.3g. Each lobe of the trefoil is perforated by a hole and in between each lobe there is a small knop. Off centre on the back of the fitting is an integrally cast T-shaped rivet. Geoff Egan states: "It is difficult to be definitive as to use, but the countersunk attachment holes and bevelled edge imply a post-medieval date. A silvered cast copper alloy seal top spoon of post-medieval date. The spoon measures 168mm in length and weighs 39g. The oval bowl measures 63mm by 49.5mm. There are patches of the original silvering over much of the inside and part of the exterior of the oval bowl. The stem has a flat oval cross-section. It tapers gradually from the bowl end and terminates in a baluster seal knop. A maker's mark in the form of a Tudor rose within a double circular border has been stamped within the bowl, adjacent to the stem. An enamelled cast copper alloy buckle of mid to late seventeenth century date. The rectangular double loop buckle measures 39.6mm by 26.4mm by 3.3mm and weighs 9.8g. The outside edges are trefoil-shaped and there are external knops at each end of the narrowed strap bar. The pin is missing. The front of the buckle is decorated with moulded scrollwork and in between the raised scrolls the recesses are filled with black and white enamel.
