Medieval copper alloy foot from a vessel. The foot is in the form of a four-toed lion's paw. Most similar examples have a steep or vertical incline up the leg, but this object has a shallow angle. This indicates that the vessel would have been held a short distance above the ground, and suggests an early date for the piece.
