A largely complete (repaired) late Roman copper alloy crossbow brooch, 72.9mm long and 45.1mm wide. The brooch is in good condition with an even dark green patina, and weighs 24.9 grams. The brooch is headed by a simple, integral terminal knob of rounded, conical form. This sits above wings of faceted (hexagonal) section. The wing terminals feature integral knobs of simple, bulbous form. The bow is rectangular in section, and semi-circular in profile,with a raised, studded ridge along its front edge. Half of a cast lead circular weight with a central hole, possibly a spindle whorl. The weight has been crudely shaped into a donut shape. The weight is undecorated. The lead is a light whitish-grey colour. A typology of lead weights has not yet been developed, so these weighs are not yet completely understood. Due to a lack of excavated examples these weights must remain undated.

A cast copper alloy rectangular buckle frame. The frame is drilled with a separate strap bar, which is present and has a double spiked tongue. The metal is dark reddish-green in colour. Buckles such as this were probably used to fasten garters on boots and date to the Georgian period, circa 1720 - 1790.

A cast copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle. The buckle has a narrowed and off-set strap bar. The opposite edge of the frame has been decoratively moulded. The pin is missing. The reverse is moulded like the front. The metal has lost most of its original surface and the metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is pitted. This type of buckle dates from circa 1250 – 1400. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, p21.

A fragment from a leg from a cast bronze vessel, dating to the medieval to post-medieval periods (circa 1350-1850). The leg has a ridge running down the centre of its length. The leg has broken off from a larger vessel and the break is very irregular and corroded. The metal has lost much of its original surface; the metal is a mid brownish-green colour.

A cast copper alloy belt mount plate. The mount is formed from a thin plate of copper alloy, which has a raised dome in the centre and four rivet holes, one in each corner. Three of the holes have worn through and are badly damaged. The plate is undecorated and is a dark jade-green colour. It is probably medieval in date and used to decorate a belt or similar strap.

A cast copper-alloy strap-end of Late Roman date. . The body is of sub lozenge shape, with an elongated lower end and rounded shoulders. The loop is separated from the body by three faint moulded collars. The loop is damaged and therefore incomplete; it situated in the same plane as the body. The object is in good condition and decoration still survives on the surface. The decoration comprises a border of incised dots around the edge of the object, with a lines of dot extending up the centre of it and clusters of dots either side of the line. An Anglo-Saxon strap-end (Thomas Class B). The strap end has a split end. Two rivet holes survive, but on the back part of the split they are damaged. Only one of the rivets survives in situ. The strap end is long and tapering. The main shaft is undecorated and smooth. The strap end terminates with a zoomorphic head. The ears and the eyes of the creature have been defined. Underneath the head there is a concave depression. The reverse is otherwise undecorated. The piece is complete with little wear.
