Fragment of Romano-British circular sectioned rod broken in antiquity at both ends. Most of the length is decorated with a cable moulding, partly removed, probably by hammering. Near one end a flat round moulding next to oblique grooves. Probably part of the shaft of or handle of an implement, such as a spatula, such as one from Catterick (Wilson 2002, no. 117). Length >42mm. Diameter 4mm.

Romano-British furniture fitting: incomplete and distorted drop handle. At one a moulded terminal, the other broken in antiquity, the bar between the two straightened. The circular sectioned terminal consists of a spherical finial moulding with dimple next to a reel, an elongated swelling and one more reel. The bar is of square section. Length >54mm. Length of terminal 19mm.

Part of Post Medieval gilt rowel spur, terminals missing, stubs of D-section sides badly distorted. Very short bulbous neck and incomplete drooping rowel box. Sides decorated externally with pairs of transverse engraved lines, longitudinal rows of small punched annulets and oblique rows of larger annulets. Junction of sides 16mm high. Neck diameter 15.5mm. Late 16th – 17th century.
