Medieval copper alloy pointed oval seal matrix with integral loop on the reverse. It measures 26.1x17.3x3.7mm and weighs 6.27g. At the centre is an eight-pointed star, the arms of which are elongated oval in shape. The two vertical arms are the widest. A groove surrounds this. Around the central edge, bound on its outside edge by another groove, is the legend S' WILL'I DE INCEWILE (the seal of William of Incewile - presumably a place name). Fragment of very worn and twisted Roman bracelet. One end is very worn and smooth while the other is sharp and roughly half of an 'eye'. It is 4.1mm wide with a flat underside and rounded, moulded uppermost side. It is 1.3mm thick. All original patina has been lost. Decoration is moulded V shapes on their sides with the pointed bottom cut off (so as to be flush with the edge of the bracelet). The V shapes have a double line in each arm. Probably medieval copper alloy stud with a tiny amount of gilding remaining. The head of the stud is slightly domed with a flat underside and roughly circular in shape, 7.4mm in diameter. The shank is square in section and 3x3mm, narrowing to 1.3mm over 9mm. The stud weighs 0.52g.
