A Roman copper alloy incomplete bracelet (circa 3rd-4th century AD). The bracelet tapers to a hooked terminal that probably secured the bracelet during wear. The bracelet is decorated with a band of four incised vertical grooves, then a central groove with diagonal notches along each edge forming a herring-bone type pattern, then four more grooves before terminating in the hook. The bracelet also has the pale blue green patina that is also seen on some of the brooches from this site. A similar form of bracelet was found within a military context at Vindolanda (Birley & Greene 2006…

A copper alloy hooked clasp, dating to the sixteenth century AD. The clasp comprises a small sub-rectangular plate. At one end of the plate there extends a trapezoidal attachment loop; at the other, the remains of the hook, flanked by two curving lugs. The underside is plain. The clasp measures 19mm in length and 17mm in width.
