An almost complete cast copper alloy mount of probable Post-Medieval date (AD 1500 – AD 1700). Length 34.3mm, width14.9mm and 2.0mm thick. Weight 2.92g. The mount, probably for a belt or strap, is sub-triangular in plan. It is slightly convex at the front and slightly concave at the rear. One end is pointed and the opposite end is in the form of a tri-lobed knop. The front face is decorated with six oblique grooves, three either side of the longitudinal centre-line. A complete flint sickle of Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2500 BC – 1500 BC). Length 73.0mm, width 48.0mm and 12.5mm thick. Weight 40.24g. This single piece, bifacially worked, sickle is crescent-shaped in plan and has been produced on a primary or secondary flake. It is light grey with some lighter mottling. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion at one tip, although the morphology of the bulb is largely lost by having been retouched. A Roman copper alloy incomplete Hod Hill brooch (c.AD43-70). The head and the upper part of the bow are all that remain. The head is rolled over to form the case for the copper alloy axis bar. The pin is missing. The bow has fluted decoration with two grooves extending towards the foot. There are no traces of any lugs.
