A complete orange patinated flint “pick” or “adze” of Late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date (6500 BC – 2900 BC). Length 151.0mm, maximum width 52.5mm and maximum thickness 39.0mm. Weight 332.0g. The implement has three faces and is generally sub-triangular in cross-section. In plan, it has an oblique butt and a pointed cutting edge. When viewed from the side it has a “hump-backed” profile. Incomplete copper-alloy seal matrix of later medieval date. The die was originally circular, but is now cut or broken across one edge (old break). The hexagonally faceted conical handle terminates in a double moulded collar below a trefoil loop with three circular perforations. On one of the arrises of the handle, close to the lower edge of the matrix, is an incised star formed by three lines of similar length crossing at the centre. A complete copper-alloy ring which could be Late Bronze Age or later in date. The ring is roughly circular but fairly irregular, it measures 24.32mm in external diameter and 14.32mm internally. It has a central circumferential ridge around the outer face. The original patina is dark brown and only survives in patches.

A fragment of a possible scabbard chape only half of the lower rectangular part of this chape survives, it would have been cast in one piece and then folded in two, it would have had two parallel pairs of rectangular-shaped arms projecting from its upper corners, none of these survive. The base of the chape is rectangular and tapering towards its base, one face and the bend, where it was folded in half survives. It measures 14.95mm in length by 20.20mm in width. A complete copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century bar mount, with a swollen middle and two terminal lobes. It measures 21.1mm in length and 9.1mm in width. The front face is convex and the back face hollow. The swollen centre is decorated with transverse grooves. There is an insitu copper-alloy rivet through the centre of each of the terminal lobes.

Initial E made from cast copper-alloy, possibly from a memorial brass. The letter is well formed and Lombardic in shape, having a curved back and a vertical line closing the loop at the front, the lower half of this is now missing due to an old break. The vertical line had a little curved projection at top and bottom, the latter no longer survives. The letter is slightly bent and it is not clear whether this is due to damage or original. It is rougher on the reverse and more polished on the upper surface. It measures 38.82 mm in length and is 29.29 mm wide, and is a maximum of 2.28 mm
