Early medieval Anglo Saxon gilded copper alloy mount fragment. The flat-sectioned mount appears to have originally been sub-rectangular, with pointed terminals with outwardly curved sides. Just one terminal and part of the central rectangular panel survive. There are traces of either one or two iron rivets in the terminal. The panel has unclear interlace decoration, and is broken across a central square or rectangular aperture. There are some traces of gilding on the obverse. Post medieval copper alloy sexfoil mount (probably for a belt) with two attachment lugs on the reverse, one of which is incomplete. The other is bent outwards.
The mount is 13.5mm in diameter and weighs 1.99g. The six foils radiate from a central circular area, perhaps originally filled with a stone (now missing).
16th/ 17th century.

Possible medieval bar mount. Incomplete and damaged. Two arms, of different lengths, centred on central lobe. One arm bends through a right-angle and then may possibly be bifurcated, although any loop has disappeared. Other arm appears to be plain. Central lobe is convex on the outside and concave on the reverse. Length 38mm, width (at lobe) 10mm, thickness 1mm and weight 1.71g.
