An incomplete and corroded cast lead steelyard weight of Roman date (AD 43 - AD 410). Length 34.0mm, daimeter 43.0mm. Weight 173.39g. When complete, the weight would have been bi-conical in form. Almost half of the weight is missing due to corrosion. A central longitudinal corroded iron shaft is the remains of a suspension loop or hook. The loop or hook element is missing. The weight is in poor condition.

An incomplete copper-alloy openwork cross brooch dating to the 9th century AD, of Weetch's type 15.B. Less than half the brooch survives. It consists of a ring-shaped semi-circle, 3.85mm wide and with a reconstructable diameter of 26.5mm, with an openwork pattern of one complete quadrant-shaped hole, and parts of two more. Originally the disc would have had four such holes which formed a cross shape, the arms of which widen from the centre to the outside ring. A copper alloy buckle frame of medieval or later date. It is part of an oval frame with an offset bar, and is 19.95mm in length, 28.40mm in width and weighs 3.03g. The outside edge is at an angle, and resembles in shape a 14th century example from London. (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no.264).It has incised line decoration forming an elongated lozenge shape running from top to bottom of the frame. Although most of the outside edge survives, the frame and bar are incomplete.

An incomplete 11th century copper alloy stirrup strap mount of Williams' Class A Type 12 Closed version. It measures 40.1mm in incomplete length and is 32.4mm wide. It fits almost exactly over the illustration of Williams' no.293 (from Ufton Nervet, Berkshire), to which it is identical (in that which survives), both having unusual incised decoration on the reverse. An incomplete copper-alloy late early medieval or medieval terminal from a cross-staff, 11th-12th century in date. Under half of the terminal now survives and it is slightly distorted, it is most likely to have been spherical originally, it now measures 29.5mm by 34.16mm in size and 15.07mm in thickness. It has openwork lattice decoration the suriving face has a cruciform design formed of four triangular holes around a central rounded knob, the sides have smaller lozenge shapes with smaller rounded knobs between these. A Roman copper alloy Colchester-derivative brooch (AD49-65). The brooch has a semi-cylindrical spring-case with open ends. The spring was only held in place by a hook projecting from the back of the head. This hook is now broken and the spring and pin are missing. The bow tapers towards the foot and there is no footknob. The spring case has moulded decoration consisting of alternate transverse bands of grooves and beaded lines. a copper alloy Anglo-Saxon strap end. It is a Thomas class A type 5 example, being rectangular with an animal head terminal. It is 44mm in length and 11.75mm in width, tapering to 4.45mm at the animal head snout. It weighs 5.15g. There are empty panels on the eye sockets, forehead and ears of the animal head, which would have held niello and silver wire. Above the ears are two parallel longitudinal panels, 15.85mm in length and about 3mm in width, also now empty of inlay. Fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bow brooch, probably of hod hill type, only the foot survives the rest is missing due to old breaks. It tapers to a point with a rounded terminal knob and the front face has a longitudinal central ridge. The incomplete integral catch plate survives on the back face. A fragmentary probable medieval mount, the centre of this mount, now circular in shape survives with an integral cylindrical rivet on the back face. It measures 9.95mm in diameter and the front face is decorated with a partial letter, possibly a B, R or H, it is unclear due to its fragmentary nature, in the field behind the letter there is gilded cross hatching.

a copper alloy detached knob from an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch. It is 16.8mm in length and 8.65mm wide, weighing 2.77g. It is a full-round knob with a single incised line of decoration, and the corroded point of the iron pin bar (for attachment to the headplate) is visible at its outer central point. At the headplate attachment terminal there are three incised lines of decoration on the projection, with corrosion blocking the hole for the pin bar. It is likely to be a side knob from a cruciform brooch.
