Fragment of copper alloy medieval key. This fragment represents only a portion of the stem and the bit. The bow is entirely missing. The stem is sub square in section and hollow. The simple bit is cut with a square cleft to the front edge. The key has lost most of its original surface. The original surface survives in patches with a dark brown patina. Abraded and exposed areas are lighter green. The key fragment is 54.54mm long. The bit is 26.64mm wide. The key is 7.08mm thick across the stem and weighs 26.86g

Fragment of a Late Roman Crossbow brooch, consisting of the complete foot which encapsulates a closed catchplate. It measures 52mm in length and is triangular in section with a 3.8mm diameter piercing which continues, from the top, for c.3/4 of the length of the foot. It weighs 8.76g. Its width is 10.9mm. At the top of the foot, to the flat front, is an isoceles triangle shape in a flattened rib, point down, with rounded points. It is 7.7mm wide and 9.2mm long. Cast copper alloy Roman mount sometimes known as a 'bell shaped stud'. The object is circular in plan with a flared trapezoidal section that extends from a short neck that is circular in section. The 'underside' of the bell or flared area is countersunk with a flat bottom. Protruding from the centre of the countersunk area is a conical boss, approximately 2mm high. There is a small circular depression in the tip. A cast copper alloy medieval mount. The mount is crescent shaped with a trefoil shape linking the ends of the crescent, which itself is decorated with curving grooves. Behind the crescent is slightly hollow and there is a circular flat headed rivet to attach the mount, presumably to a strap of some sort. It is not clear that it had any function beyond decoration.

Copper-alloy open-top sewing ring or tailor's thimble. It flares from the top to the bottom, and is decorated with a groove around either end. There are circular hand-punched indentations in about five crudely spaced, roughly horizontal rows. The top is slightly damaged. Dark green patina with a little pale green surface corrosion. 13th to 15th century.

A Late Bronze Age copper plano-convex ingot edge fragment. This fragment of ingot is sub rectangular in plan, with one distinctly curved edge, and is sub triangular in section. When complete the ingot would have been ‘bun-shaped’, having a domed upper surface and a flat lower surface. The ingot now measures 52.54mm long, 30.64mm wide, 23.74mm thick and weighs 100.67g. The surfaces of the ingot are abraded and pitted. It is mostly bright green in colour which indicates its high copper content. Copper alloy Roman finger ring of Henig type Xb. Catherine Johns describes this type of ring as having ‘hunched’ shoulders (Johns, 1996, The Jewellery of Roman Britain, London, UCL Press, page 50). The hoop of the ring is sub triangular in section and almost D-shaped in profile, as the two shoulders are noticeably cusped. A cast copper alloy medieval annular (ring) brooch. The frame is a flat ring, plain at the rear and with 16 circular recesses on the front to hold decorative stones or glass (now empty except for some of the paste to hold the decoration in place). At one point the frame is constricted to keep the pin in place, though the pin is now also missing.
