The bead is composed of green glass and has a longitudinal circular perforation that has a diameter of about 4.0mm.

A copper-alloy single-loop buckle with an integral plate. Probably dates from the mid 13th to late 15th century AD (R. Whitehead; 1996; pp. 32).
The frame is roughly D-shaped and has a pointed pin rest, with three moulded segments, at the centre of the outer edge. The plate is sub-rectangular, tapering slightly towards the proximal (attachment) end. The pin is missing, but there is a small rivet hole, containing a corroded iron remnant, at the centre of the distal (frame) end of the plate. Medieval copper alloy strap-end consisting of two sheet plates secured by a rivet near both ends. Straight attachment edge and pointed knop. Above the knop the sides are rounded, and above this there are six deep, filed cut-outs along both sides. A wavy line of rocker-arm engraving on the front plate overlies the rivet near the attachment edge. Some organic material, probably textile, survives in the split end. Length 44mm. Width 6mm. Length of split end 14mm. 14th century.

Incomplete Middle Saxon arm of pair of tweezers, loop and part of inturned blade missing. The arm widens very slowly from the top before abruptly expanding to a triangular terminal. Decorated with a delicately engraved contour line along both sides and with seven punched ring-and-dots. A characteristic Middle Saxon form. Extant length 34mm. Maximmum width 16mm. 8th - 9th centuy.

A complete cast copper alloy spur buckle with an integral plate. Medieval (AD 1250 - AD 1400). Length 69mm (if straightened), maximum width 14mm and 1.6mm thick. Weight 2.86g.
The buckle, including and integral plate is slightly convex on the upper face and flat at the rear. The loop is D-shaped in plan and has a maximum width of 14.0mm. Between the frame and the plate is a large circular pin-hole, 4.0mm in diameter. The plate generally tapers in width from the loop towards the attachment end. Near the loop, the plate exapands to accommodate a circular rivet hole, 2.0mm in diameter.…

A cast copper alloy bucket escutcheon or mount in the form of a bovine head. The head would be mostly likely positioned along the rim and the head would be vertical. Protruding and integral to the top off the head there is an incomplete loop. The terminals of the loop are broken, possibly recently, as they are corroded and the patina is flaking off. This loop was probably used to suspend a handle. The forehead is undecorated and has the remains of a horn either side. Both horns are oval in section and are incomplete. Middle Saxon/Late Saxon strap-end of Thomas (2003) Class A, Type 5, attachment edge missing, broken across two rivet holes, rather abraded. Apparently engraved fan-shaped field. Three club-shaped fields (cf. ibid. fig.1 no.12) are filled with off-white niello in which one tiny fragment of silver wire inlay survives. The ears of the animal head are abraded, but apparently enhanced by engraving. The eyes are drilled and the snout badly damaged. 32.5 x 14mm. 9th century.
