Romano-British Enamelled knee brooch, most of chain loop, axis bar and rear part of spring housing, spring, pin and most of catchplate missing, foot terminal damaged. The front of the rectangular head is flat and undecorated. The upper bow is of D-section with a median arris. The mid and lower bow consists of an almost square, flat expansion divided vertically into two rectangular fields of enamel, the colour of which is unidentifiable. Length (without stub of chain loop) 26mm. Width of head 10mm, of enamelled expansion 8mm. 2nd century.

Incomplete Middle Saxon arm of pair of tweezers, loop and part of inturned blade missing. The arm widens very slowly from the top before abruptly expanding to a triangular terminal. Decorated with a delicately engraved contour line along both sides and with seven punched ring-and-dots. A characteristic Middle Saxon form. Extant length 34mm. Maximmum width 16mm. 8th - 9th centuy.

Incomplete Early Saxon pair of copper alloy tweezers in rather battered condition and bent, lower parts of arms missing, apparently recent break. The top of the loop, the narrowest part of the object, is slightly concave. Decoration on both faces is similar: immediately below the loop a pair of transverse grooves, a pair of edge notches, a triplet of transverse grooves and after a 14mm gap another triplet. Width 4 - 6mm. Extant length 45mm. Sheet up to 0.9mm thick. 5th - 6th century.

Romano-British copper alloy umbonate plate brooch, catchplate and associated lobe missing, only stubs of side lobes and of lobe next to double pin lug extant. Decorated with pair of concentric rings of triangular cells filled with enamel. Red and blue enamel remains in some cells in the outer ring, but none survives in the inner one. It is uncertain whether there was a nipple or enamelled dot in the very worn centre. >21 x >23mm. 2nd century.

Medieval copper alloy strap-end consisting of two sheet plates secured by a rivet near both ends. Straight attachment edge and pointed knop. Above the knop the sides are rounded, and above this there are six deep, filed cut-outs along both sides. A wavy line of rocker-arm engraving on the front plate overlies the rivet near the attachment edge. Some organic material, probably textile, survives in the split end. Length 44mm. Width 6mm. Length of split end 14mm. 14th century.
