Romano-British Sprung Dolphin brooch, spring, pin and catchplate flap missing. Three rear-facing hooks, cf. Hattatt no.354. Wings decorated with a narrow groove immediately outside both outer hooks and a broader grooves within them. The rear of the bow is convex. Its front begins with a median rib between two flutes. The latter dies away by the lower bow and a single flute continues down to the foot. Length 46mm. Wingspan 24mm. c.40 - 65 AD.

Complete cast copper alloy 13th century seal matrix. This seal matrix is circular in plan and flat in section. The die face is carved with the negative design of a perched bird of prey. The inscription runs around the die, also in negative, and reads + S'IOhIS DE FLEXMERE (Seal of John of Flexmere). The reverse of the matrix is plain. A central rib runs along the length of the die terminating in a loop. The loop is intact with a circular perforation. The seal die has a diameter of 20.16mm and is 2.4mm thick. A cast copper alloy bucket escutcheon or mount in the form of a bovine head. The head would be mostly likely positioned along the rim and the head would be vertical. Protruding and integral to the top off the head there is an incomplete loop. The terminals of the loop are broken, possibly recently, as they are corroded and the patina is flaking off. This loop was probably used to suspend a handle. The forehead is undecorated and has the remains of a horn either side. Both horns are oval in section and are incomplete. Middle Saxon/Late Saxon strap-end of Thomas (2003) Class A, Type 5, attachment edge missing, broken across two rivet holes, rather abraded. Apparently engraved fan-shaped field. Three club-shaped fields (cf. ibid. fig.1 no.12) are filled with off-white niello in which one tiny fragment of silver wire inlay survives. The ears of the animal head are abraded, but apparently enhanced by engraving. The eyes are drilled and the snout badly damaged. 32.5 x 14mm. 9th century.

A post-medieval cast copper-alloy uniface mount in the form of an acorn. On the upper face the acorn is moulded and the cup decorated with an incised transverse line, below which crudely incised diagonals. The stalk forks into two elements. In profile the stalk has been bent upwards as a result of old damage. The reverse features a pair of broken and unaligned pointed lugs suggestive of a c. 17th-century date. Similar figurative mounts can be found illustrated in Read (2001, 29, 37; refs. 331-334), although this example is larger than any of those published in the above.

A cast copper-alloy hooked tag of probable early post medieval date (1500-1650). The plate of the hooked tag is sub-rectangular in plan with an integral rectangular loop at one end and a hook at the other. The hook tag measures 16.2mm in length, 17.6mm in width and is 1.4mm thick. The rectangular loop has an internal measurement of 9.9mm x 4.9mm. The hook has been formed by bending back the tapering end of the plate. It is semi-cylindrical (D shaped) in section and is 1.7mm thick. The hooked tag weighs 2.68 grams. Fragment of Iron Age harness fitting. The main part is crescentic, of rounded section and decorated on both sides. A scar at both ends of the crescent show that a small projection has been broken off. Just back from both ends of the crescent project round sectioned integrally cast bars, both curving to a break. On both sides decoration consists of a very slightly recessed crescentic area containing upstanding dots (seven on one side and eight on the other) against a background off cast or engraved basket-weave pattern.
