A mid-15th century purse bar. The central block is square with a tapering hole through the centre where the shank would have fitted. The top of this hole shows signs of wear, whilst the bottom has the appearance of being countersunk. One side of the central block has two incised Vs that overlap to form a crude W. The other side has two incised Xs side by side. Abutting the central block on either side are subtriangular (in profile) knops which then lead to the round profiled suspension bar. A cast copper alloy triskele fob dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period. The fob comprises a circular plate with an openwork motif of three joined hemispheres. Each hemisphere is decorated with a marginal groove, an incised lozenge and a semi-circular raised moulding. At the centre of the joined hemispheres is a circular moulding with incised triangle. Extending from the underside of the circular plate is a circular section stem. This expands to a circular attachment loop. The fob has a diameter of 43mm and a length from plate to attachment loop of 38mm.

a Medieval copper alloy annular brooch. It is incomplete and consists of an arc, with rectangular cross-section, broken off at both ends. One side is plain, and the other decorated with three zones of cross-hatching and bands of horizontal line decoration. It is 43.66mm long, and 6.27mm wide. The curve suggests a diameter of. c. 60mm. It weighs 4.82g. It is possible that this piece may be part of a buckle. There are no signs of a constriction or pin reston this fragment.

Probable Roman coin - Barbarous Radiate - of unknown emperor probably dating from the late 3rd century (250-300 AD). The edges of the coin have been clipped and it is now hexagonal in plan. Both faces of the coin have been badly corroded a slight bust can be seen on the obverse.

A Neolithic (3,500-2,100BC) flint scraper. The tool has been made from a primary flint flake with approximately 80% cortex remaining. The ventral surface has a single flake removal. A small amount of cortex has been removed from the dorsal surface through several small flake removals, and then edge pressure flaked to form the scraper. Cast copper-alloy ring. This ring has a circular sectioned hoop. It has an even dark green patina. It is damaged in one portion and exposed surfaces are rough and lighter greeny brown in colour. The ring has an external diameter of 20.78mm with an internal diameter of 14.8mm. The hoop is 3.16mm thick and 3.12mm wide. The ring weighs 3.52g. Copper-alloy rings found in isolation are hard to date with any accuracy. It is possibly late Iron Age or Roman given other finds known from the area, though it cannot be ruled out that it is of a much later date.

Complete copper alloy one piece La Tène III or ‘Nauheim’ derivative brooch. The head of the brooch is formed from the coil of the spring, which has all four coils surviving. Two coils to one side are bent downwards, but the integral pin shaft that extends from these coils tapers down along its original alignment, and is complete. The integral bow of the brooch is flat in section. It tapers into a narrow leg that terminates in a blunt point. The bow is decorated along two thirds of its length with a broad, shallow groove. A copper alloy Post medieval hooked tag. With the loop uppermost, it consists of a rectangular bar beneath which is an openwork pattern. There are two rosettes, one at each end of the bar, which join an open trefoil knot. The pin continues from the base of the trefoil, and terminates in a sharp hook (point broken off). The hooked tag is 30.32mm in length and is 18.43mm wide, weighing 2.19g. Read (1995, no.759) illustrates a close parallel.

A Medieval (12th-13th century) copper alloy bit link (now incomplete) from a horse harness. It has a hemispherical section and a circular ring terminal 21.63mm in diameter. The bar expands into a small dome/moulded bead which meets a second circular ring which is now broken.
