Cast copper alloy incomplete buckle of probable Roman date (100 - 450 AD). The buckle is an irregular ellipse (broadly D shaped) in plan and irregular in cross section. The frame of the buckle is D shaped with a series of cast openwork and drilled designs within the frame. The pin is held by a central bar and the pin is present (although distorted). The pin is formed from a cut rectangular piece of copper alloy sheet. The pin is held by being rolled / folded around the central bar. A Roman copper alloy incomplete brooch, possibly a derivative of a knee brooch (AD150-250). It is rounded in profile, with a cylindrical open-backed spring cover and expanded head plate. The spring, pin, part of the headplate and foot are missing. The bow has a circular cross-section with some moulded decoration of a transverse groove and ridges and three raised pellets. The bow appears to have an iron core. Dark green patina. Dimensions: length 41.38mm; width 27.77mm; weight 15.33g

Cast lead alloy whistle of Post medieval date, possibly dating from the 18th century. The whistle has a wide collar, which is decorated with a ring and dot design. There is a supension loop at the top of the whistle, with a circular hole. The end of the whistle is rounded, the body of the whistle has a cresent shaped hole; below this there is raised lozenge shape, with cross hatching inside, at each side of this it is decorated with raised scoll decoration. At the bottom of of the whistle, the mouth end it has raised dots around the edge, as does the whistle hole.

An incomplete sheet copper alloy rivet of Late Medieval to Early Post-Medieval date. (AD 1400 – AD 1600). Length 56mm, width 10.0mm and 7.5mm thick. Weight 9.73g. The sheet is rolled to form a hollow point. The rivet head is missing and there is an old break. In plan, the rivet is triangular in shape. It has a width of 10.0mm at the top, where the head would have joined and tapers to a sharp point. The metal is a reddish colour where it is not obscured by a light green patina and also some copper alloy corrosion products. The condition is fair.
