Roman copper alloy horse fitting 51mm long and 33mm wide. The object consists of a copper alloy plate with two iron rivets centrally placed, which terminates in a hinge fitting with semi-spherical terminals proejecting to the sides. This is attached by the central loop of the hinge to an openwork plate with a central slot. This has a flat lower edge and is sub rectangular in form. it comprises an openwork loop which has two slight triangular projections at each side near its outer end. Roman copper alloy knee derivitive brooch, 22mm long and 17mm wide. The brooch has a rectangular shaped head with an incised border? which is semi-cylindrical in section, this conceals a spring of 10 coils. The bow consists of a thin plate c.2mm wide, which bulges to an almost circular form where it turns to form the 'knee' it is set at right angles to the head so this can only be viewed from the side. It has snapped off just below the turn.

Roman copper alloy knee brooch, 39mm long and 20mm wide. The brooch is intact, apart from its pin and is made up of a semi-circular plate from which emerges the bow. This also conceals a spring of four coils. This is rounded in form and curves outwards for half its length before turning back on its self, tapering inwards for the most part of its length before terminating in a rectangular 'foot'.

The brooch has a central circle of copper alloy surrouonded by a circle of copper alloy which has six open loops equally spaced round its circumference. Incomplete copper alloy umbonate disc brooch. The brooch is circular with three lugs remaining on the perimeter. The face of the brooch is decorated with three concentric bands; one thick band on the outer and two thinner inside. There are recesses between the bands, which would have once been filled with enamel however none now survive. The surface of the brooch has been enamelled. There is a hinged pin on the reverse of the brooch and a catchplate located behind one of the peripheral lugs.

The sherd is a portion of a rim, of an unknown type of vessel. The vessel is a utilitarian type of vessel rather than table ware. The rim, in profile is curvaeous, and is similar shape to a mushroom. It has a bulbous 'head' in prfoile with a narrowed body beneath. The sherd is either Roman or Medieval. The fabric is a reduced ware. hard, and the surface has a mottled grey/black colour. This maybe due to smoke, rather than the colour of the fabric. There are no obvious inclusions. The fabric is otherwise a mid grey colour. The sherd weighs 22.2g and is slightly abraded.
