Each of the fragments are rectangular and flat sectioned – the original object would have been long and thin. Roman copper-alloy fleur-de-lis key handle. Tri-lobed openwork handle, with a rounded knop on the end of the larger, central lobe. One of the side lobes is larger than the other. There is a groove where the handle meets the lozenge-sectioned stem. Each facet of the stem is decorated with a pair of diagonal crossed lines. Thhe hollow stem is broken. Fragment of a small Roman trumpet derivative copper alloy brooch. The hinged pin is missing. The back of the wings are rounded, while the front is flattened and decorated with one groove. The bow is decorated with a groove on either side, then a rounded moulding (unclear), then two grooves again, then the bow is broken. Poorly moulded. Length 23.10mm, width 11.50mm, thickness 7.65mm, weight 2.74g.

Two sherds of Roman greyware pottery. The handle sherd is in a sandy light grey fabric and comes from either the top or bottom of handle where it joins the base.
