A lead vesica-shaped (pointed oval), double sided seal matrix; no suspension loop but top point is broken off. Device on Osgate side: a waning crescent moon occupies the left-hand side of the matrix, extending from the bottom of the vesica to two thirds of the way towards the top of it. Above the moon is the remnant of an eight-pointed star (?) and in the space to the right of the moon a six-pointed star with curved limbs, looking rather like an ignited Catherine wheel; below this, a small dot. A copper alloy circular seal matrix, back plain other than suspension loop intact at top of raised midrib and a line running around a short distance from the edge forming a border. Circular mark on rim denotes top. Device: within an eight-pointed star, a shield bearing a cross moline and a quarter lozengy. There is also a single dot in the gap between each angle of the star and the circle separating the central design from the lettering; a similar line runs around the outer edge of the matrix face. Measurements: 25.5 mm diameter, 12 mm; weight 10.3 g.

A large body and rim sherd from an Iron Age Channel Rimmed jar with slashed decoration. The exterior of the sherd is very dark, almost black. The interior of the sherd is a pale orange colour. The diameter of the pot when complete would have measured around 18 mm. The pot dates to the very late Iron Age, to circa 60 AD.

A worn and incomplete wrought copper-alloy Iron Age La Tène III type brooch. The extant elements consist of the majority of the bow and the spring mechanism at its head. Typical of this one-piece brooch type, the spring has four coils and the chord internal. Looking at the reverse of the artefact, the centre left coil has suffered a break as a result of old damage. Complete gilded silver hat-hook or cap-badge of late fifteenth to the first half of the sixteenth century date (c. AD 1475 - c. AD 1550). Treasure case no. BM2004 T359. Length 15mm, width 14mm and maximum thickness 6mm. Weight 3.62g. The front of the plate is in the form of a stylised flower with four main petals at the corners and four smaller petals between.
