Complete pin of a type normally associated with Fowler Type F penannular brooches. The pin is 70mm in length and has a broad head with a concave moulding and raised double band to either side. The external diameter of the head is 8mm. The head would have been a complete band, however there is a thin linear fracture running the width of the head on the underside. ?Incomplete copper alloy ?Iron Age pin, possibly missing part of its shank. It is 40mm in length and weighs 3.84g. The shank is circular in section and is 3-3.5mm in diameter. At the finished end, the pin turns 90° into a short arm. On the end of this is a widened U shape, or C shape on its side, the C being 5-6mm wide and 3mm thick. The short arm is 2.5mm wide and 3.5mm thick. It is 5mm long, including the width of the top part of the pin (3.5mm).
