Possible copper alloy finger ring. The hoop has a sub-circular section and a swollen bump in one part. This could be a very crude representation of a snakes head but is more likely just the point at which the ring has been soldered together or finished off as there are no clear zoomorphic features. The ring weighs 1.1g and measures 21.4mm in diameter. The hoop measures approximately 1.8mm in thickness.

Fragment of a copper alloy Roman rosette or thistle brooch. This style of brooch developed from the earlier Langton Down style and dates to the first century. Part of the cylinder shaped wings survive, which would have originally housed the spring-pin mechanism. The top part of the bow also survives; this is flat with grooves and ribs (sometimes known as reeding) running vertically down it's front surface. Romano-British button and loop fastener of Wild's Class III dating to the late 1st - 2nd centuries. The fastener weighs 8.65g and is cast copper alloy. The fastener comprises of two main parts; The loop fastener part is an elongated triangle about 21mm long, the narrow end of the triangle turns into a rod and bends 90 degrees to attach to the button element. The button or head is tear or petal-shaped and comprises a central boss surrounded by a raised outer edge which is drawn out into a point. The back of the head is hollow-cast.
