3 fragments of a cut quarter of a hammered silver medieval penny. The remains of the voided long cross can be seen on the reverse, and enough of the reverse inscription (BER) is visible to identify the moneyer as GILBERT, and therefore the mint as Canterbury. The obverse has a fragment (VS RE) of HENRICVS REX, but both Henry III and Edward I used this on the voided long cross pennies so the king is unclear.
