A small complete oval-shaped, silver annular brooch of the thirteenth or fourteenth century. Length 23mm, width 19.5mm and 2.0mm thick. Weight 2.58g. The frame to one side of the pin is of twisted cable pattern. Within each twist is a line of closely related granulations. The frame on the other side of the pin is plain and round in cross-section (2.0mm in diameter). There is a constriction (2.0mm in width) for the tapering pin which is round in cross-section.
